BindTuning free plan

What credits are, how they work, and what you can do with them across Pulse365, Automate365, Intranet, and the Integrity Score.

Written by BindTuning Team

BindTuning's free plan gives you genuine access to the platform from the moment you connect your tenant. You can scan your environment, explore reports, and build templates without spending a thing. When it comes to taking action, that's where credits come in.

Credits are the currency of BindTuning's free experience. They let you take real action across the platform without a paid subscription, from running governance fixes to deploying templates, so you can see what BindTuning actually does before committing to anything.

This article is for people who are new to BindTuning, and for existing users who want to explore a product they haven't tried yet.

How you get and use credits

Credits are connected to your BindTuning workspace and the Microsoft 365 tenant linked to it. To collect credits, your workspace must have a tenant connected.

If you haven't connected a tenant yet, you can do so from your workspace settings. Read how to request tenant-wide admin consent to get started.

Once your tenant is connected, here is what you need to know:

  • You receive 10 credits per tenant. They become available upon your first request and refresh every 30 days from that date.

  • Credits are not stackable. Unused credits do not carry over to the next cycle.

  • Credits are not transferable. They are tied to your account and your tenant, and cannot be moved to another account or another connected tenant.

  • BindTuning solutions are annual-based subscriptions. Extra credits cannot be purchased at any time.

  • Each tenant gets its own allocation. If the same tenant is already connected to another workspace in BindTuning, you cannot request a separate credit allocation for it. In that case, you can ask the workspace owner to add you as a member and share access to the existing credits.

  • You can see at all times how many credits you have available on the left-side menu

Credits apply when you don't have an active subscription for a given product. If you have a subscription, credits are not used for that product — you simply have full, ongoing access to its capabilities.

Integrity Score

Your Integrity Score reflects the overall health of your Microsoft 365 tenant across four dimensions: adoption, oversharing and access, ownership, and sprawl. Once you have scanned your tenant, the score surfaces a prioritized set of recommendations, each one pointing to a specific issue and the action that resolves it.

Credits let you act on some of those recommendations directly. When you take a corrective action to remediate or improve your score (like removing external access to a M365 workspace) credits are consumed. The cost varies depending on the type and scope of the action.

To learn more about the Integrity Score and what moves it, read Understanding the Integrity Score.

Pulse365

Pulse365 gives you complete visibility into your Microsoft 365 environment from a single dashboard. Scanning your tenant the first time and reading all reports is free.

Credits come into play when you take action. From within Pulse365 reports, you can spend credits to govern your tenant directly, including:

  • After the first scan, your tenant is automatically scanned for free every 7 days, manually scanning before that costs credits.

  • Applying sensitivity labels to workspaces.

  • Adding owners to orphaned workspaces.

  • Archiving inactive workspaces.

  • Deleting external sharing links.

  • Changing sharing settings.

  • Managing guest access, including blocking sign-in, disabling or removing guests.

  • Extending or deleting workspaces.

  • Restoring archived workspaces.

Actions can be performed individually or in bulk.

Automate365

Automate365 is where you build workspace templates — defining structure, naming conventions, sensitivity labels, ownership, and governance policies — so that every new workspace in your organization starts right.

Creating and editing templates is free. credits are used when you provision a custom template. This means you can build your templates, configure them exactly as needed, and use credits to test or deploy them on demand.

To understand how templates work and how to create them, read Understanding templates in Automate365.

Intranet

BindTuning Intranet enhances SharePoint with professional themes, 28+ web parts, and accessibility features — giving communications and HR teams a modern digital workplace they can manage without IT.

Credits give you access to a trial that unlocks the full set of Intranet capabilities. Here is how the trial cycle works:

  • First trial: Request it using credits to unlock full Intranet access and explore everything the product offers.

  • Second trial: After your first trial ends, you can request one additional trial using credits.

  • Subsequent trials: From the second trial onward, you can request a new one every 12 months from the date of your last request.

To learn more about what Intranet includes and how to get started, read Understanding Intranet.

Our free plan is designed to give you meaningful access to BindTuning — not a restricted preview, but real capability you can act on. Whether you are cleaning up your tenant, testing a provisioning template, or evaluating the intranet for your team, credits let you do it at your own pace.
