Template-specific approval flows provide granular control, allowing you to define unique approval sequences directly within a single Automate365 template. This article guides you through the process of managing your template-specific flows.
Access your Approval Flows
To manage an approval flow that is exclusive to a specific template, you need to access that template's editing interface:
Log in to the Automate365 App.
In the left-hand navigation, click on Templates > Created by me.
Hover your mouse over the desired template you wish to edit. Click "Edit Draft".
Within the template editing wizard, use the left-hand navigation to go to the Approval workflow.
Edit an Approval Flow
You can directly modify the existing settings of your template-specific approval flow.
Within the flow configuration area, make any desired changes to the rules, options, or values.
No further action is needed for the approval flow itself at this stage; the template-specific flow will be saved automatically when you finalize and save the template draft. Once the template is published and used, this approval flow will be automatically applied to all new workspaces provisioned using it.
Switch to a reusable Approval Flow
If you initially created an approval flow unique to this template but now have a suitable reusable flow that covers the same approval sequence, you can switch the template to use the reusable one instead.
Within the approvals configuration area, look for the dropdown at the top of the screen for selecting pre-saved approval flows.
Choose the desired reusable flow from the list.
Save the template.
