It's important to understand that once a theme package is installed or downloaded from the Customizer Tool, the underlying .zip or .wsp package becomes a static bundle that cannot be re-uploaded to the Customizer Tool for further editing.
Using the Customizer Tool (before installation)
The BindTuning Customizer Tool is designed to be your central hub for theme design and iteration. While a downloaded theme package is static, your theme customizations themselves can be saved as "customizations" directly within the Customizer Tool. This allows you to continuously refine your designs.
You can access your saved customizations in "My Customizations" at any time. By applying a previously saved customization, you can seamlessly pick up where you left off, make further adjustments, create new versions, and then generate a new theme package for deployment. This process is ideal for ongoing design work, A/B testing different looks, or preparing new versions for updates.

Modifying themes in SharePoint (after installation)
For custom modifications that go beyond the options available in the Customizer Tool, you can directly edit the theme's underlying files after it has been installed and deployed to your SharePoint environment. This method requires coding knowledge (CSS, JavaScript) and direct access to SharePoint resources.
In Modern SharePoint
For BindTuning themes applied on Modern SharePoint sites, proceed by adding custom styles to the BindTuning Settings Panel within SharePoint. This panel often provides options for injecting custom CSS or JavaScript snippets.
In Classic SharePoint
For BindTuning themes applied on Classic SharePoint sites, perform the modifications by directly editing the theme resources (CSS, Fonts, JavaScript files) and potentially Master Pages that are part of the deployed theme package in SharePoint.
