The BindTuning Customizer Tool allows you to save and manage your theme customizations. This feature is invaluable for iterative design processes, enabling you to save multiple configurations, compare different versions, and ensure your preferred designs are securely stored for future use or testing.
All BindTuning theme customizations are managed centrally within our Customizer Tool. For more information on the general customization process, read more on how to Customize a theme.
Saving a theme customization
When you are working on a theme customization, you can easily save your current settings at any point.
Open the themes Customizer Tool to continue editing your theme.
At the bottom of the customization panel, look for the colored icon. If the icon is yellow, your current selections are not yet saved as a customization.
Clicking the save icon will open a dialog.
To create a new customization, enter a unique name. Enter the exact name of a previously saved customization to override an existing one.
Important: Saving a customization creates a snapshot of your theme's settings at that exact moment. If you make any further changes to the theme, you will need to save again to update the corresponding customization.
Managing your saved theme customizations
Once you have saved customizations, you can easily access and manage them:
From the BindTuning Customizer Tool, click on the "My Assets" option.
Within "My Assets," click on "My Customizations".
This is your customization management area, where you can:
Apply: Click on any saved customization to apply its settings to your current theme preview.
Override: Click the floppy-disk icon next to a saved customization to override it with your currently applied theme settings.
More Options (Ellipsis
...): Click the ellipsis icon for additional actions:Share: Share a theme customization with others.
Delete: Permanently remove your customization.
