Add Web Parts to SharePoint pages [TBR-EDIT ALL LINKS] OK

BindTuning Intranet provides a comprehensive suite of ready-to-use Web Parts designed to enhance content management, foster collaboration, and expand functionality within your SharePoint environment.

Before you begin:

  • Web Parts must be installed on your tenant or site collection before they can be added to a page. For a complete walkthrough of the installation process, please refer to: How to Install Your BindTuning Web Parts.

  • For detailed instructions on how to configure each specific BindTuning Web Part after adding it, please check our Web Part Configuration Guides.

The procedure for adding Web Parts varies depending on whether you are working with a Modern SharePoint page or a Classic SharePoint page.

Add to Modern pages

Follow these steps to add a BindTuning Web Part to a modern SharePoint page:

  1. Enter your page in Edit mode.

  2. Click the [+] button (Add a new section or web part) on your page.

  3. In the Web Part search panel that appears, type "BindTuning" to filter and easily locate our web parts.

  4. Select the BindTuning Web Part you wish to add to the page.

  5. Once the Web Part is placed, click "Publish" to save your changes and make them visible to users.


Add to Classic pages

The process for adding BindTuning Web Parts to Classic SharePoint pages differs slightly between Collaboration and Publishing site templates.

On Collaboration sites

Follow these steps to add a Web Part to a Classic Collaboration site page:

  1. Go to your site and edit the desired page.

  2. Select the area on the page where you want to add the Web Part.

  3. On the toolbar, click "Insert", followed by "Web Part".

  4. In the Categories list, select the BindTuning Add-in and then select the desired BindTuning Web Part to be added.

  5. Click "Add".

  6. Click "OK" on the Web Part properties pane (if it appears).

  7. Save the page to apply your changes.

On Publishing sites

Follow these steps to add a Web Part to a Classic Publishing site page:

  1. Go to your site and edit the desired page.

  2. Click to Add a Web Part in the desired area.

  3. In the Categories list, select the BindTuning Add-in, and then select the desired BindTuning Web Part.

  4. Click "Add".

  5. Check in and Publish your page to make it live.

Remember: After adding your Web Part, refer to its specific User Guide or Configuration Guide to set up its features and customize its appearance.
