This release introduces a dedicated Brand Center governance workflow for Workspace Integrity, bringing brand compliance into the same score-driven model already used to assess the quality and consistency of Microsoft 365 workspaces. The most visible change is the new “Sites Not Using Brand Center Branding” metric in the Integrity Score, which identifies SharePoint sites whose active color palette does not match any palette managed through Microsoft Brand Center. Administrators can now move from a tenant-level view of branding compliance into the SharePoint Sites report, where new branding fields and filters make it easier to find affected sites and understand which palette is currently applied. These changes reduce the effort required to identify inconsistent branding across large or fast-changing SharePoint environments and make the available next steps easier to discover. Instead of checking sites manually or treating branding as a separate configuration concern, administrators can use Workspace Integrity to classify sites as compliant or non-compliant, filter directly to the workspaces that need attention, and follow recommendations that point them to the right configuration path. Today, that means configuring approved themes in Microsoft Brand Center or using BindTuning Themes, where BindTuning themes can already be applied at scale.
Strengthen Brand Center governance across SharePoint
Maintaining a consistent brand experience across SharePoint sites can be challenging, particularly as environments grow and new workspaces are created over time. Workspace Integrity now introduces comprehensive Brand Center governance, helping administrators identify sites that are not using approved branding, investigate affected workspaces, and take corrective action more efficiently. A new Sites Not Using Brand Center Branding metric has been added to the Integrity Score, measuring the percentage of SharePoint sites whose active color palette does not match any palette currently managed through Brand Center. Each evaluated site is automatically classified as Compliant or Non-Compliant, providing a clear overview of branding consistency across the tenant.
From the Integrity Score, administrators can drill directly into the SharePoint Sites report to investigate affected workspaces. The report includes new branding-specific information, such as compliance status and the applied color palette, together with dedicated filtering options to quickly identify non-compliant sites. To help organizations move from insight to action, the Integrity Score provides recommendations rather than remediation actions alone. Administrators can launch the appropriate configuration experience directly from the recommendation, whether configuring approved themes in Microsoft Brand Center or using BindTuning Themes to create, manage, and apply BindTuning themes at scale. Remediation actions, such as applying a color palette in bulk, and preventive actions, such as creating a template with a configurable theme, are planned for a future release. Together, these enhancements provide a complete workflow for monitoring, investigating, and improving branding compliance across Microsoft 365.
Overall, this release makes branding consistency easier to measure, investigate, and manage across SharePoint. By adding Brand Center awareness to the Integrity Score, extending the SharePoint Sites report with branding-specific data, and connecting recommendations to the relevant configuration tools, Workspace Integrity gives administrators a clearer way to understand where branding is inconsistent today and what configuration path to follow next. It also establishes the foundation for upcoming remediation and prevention capabilities, including bulk palette application and configurable theme templates.
