When a new Microsoft 365 workspace is requested, users want to know what’s happening and what comes next. In this release, by extending notifications at each milestone to deployments made from the SharePoint Catalog, we’re giving workspace requestors and approvers the confidence that the process is moving forward - even when workflows span departments, time zones, or external collaborators.
At the same time, we expand the approver experience by enabling more collaborators, including users without a BindTuning account, to participate fully in approval workflows.
End‑to‑End visibility for catalog requests
Requestors using the SharePoint Catalog now receive email notifications at every key stage: Request Created, Pending Approval, Approved, and Creation Success/Failure.
Expanded approver experience
The company catalog now enables all users - including those without a BindTuning account - to fully access, review, and manage workspace approval requests assigned to them.
Together, these updates create a more transparent and inclusive catalog experience, giving requestors confidence through end-to-end visibility, while enabling a broader set of collaborators to participate effectively in approvals. The result is a smoother, more reliable workflow that scales across departments, teams, and collaboration scenarios.
