What are Workspaces in Pulse365

In Pulse365, a Workspace represents a logical container that mirrors the structure of your Microsoft 365 environment. Each Workspace corresponds to a primary Microsoft 365 collaboration component — such as a Team, SharePoint site, or Microsoft 365 Group — along with all of its connected services.

This approach gives administrators a unified, high-level view of their collaboration landscape. By grouping related components into a single Workspace, Pulse365 makes it easier to monitor health, manage security, and apply governance policies consistently across your environment. Instead of handling each service separately, you can manage the entire working area as one cohesive entity — improving both visibility and control.

Every Workspace in Pulse365 is identified by its Primary Container, which determines the Workspace’s type and visual icon within the platform. The table below shows how different Microsoft 365 starting points map to a Pulse365 Workspace, and which associated services are included.

Note: Channel sites within a Microsoft Team are not listed as separate Workspaces. They are managed as part of the primary Team Workspace to ensure consistent governance and visibility.
