As an Automate365 (A365) administrator, you require a comprehensive overview of all incoming workspace requests. This centralized visibility is crucial for tracking the provisioning pipeline, monitoring approval statuses, and ensuring efficient resource allocation, regardless of how the request was initiated.
This guide will show you how to access and utilize the Requests area in A365 to effectively manage all workspace requests, particularly those pending approval.
Access all workspace requests
To gain a centralized view of every workspace request:
Log in to the BindTuning App.
In the left-hand navigation, click on Requests.
This section provides a single, comprehensive list of all workspace requests across your organization.
This list offers a unified view of requests originating from all available channels:
Company Catalog (Self-Service)
SharePoint Catalog (Self-Service)
External Systems Integrated with Automations (Self-Service)
Unattended Automations (Automated)
Filtering and tracking requests
The Requests interface is designed to help you quickly assess and manage your provisioning queue:
Status Cards: At the top of the requests list, you'll find intuitive cards that allow for quick filtering by the request's current approval status:
π’ Approvedπ΄ Rejected
π‘ Pending
βͺ No Approval Required
βAdditional Filtering Options: Beyond approval status, you can further refine your view using various filters, such as Provisioning Status, Request Channel, and other relevant criteria to pinpoint specific requests.
This robust filtering capability allows administrators to quickly identify and focus on pending approvals, monitor potential bottlenecks, and track the overall health of the workspace provisioning process.
