Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a critical security technology designed to protect your BindTuning account from unauthorized access. By requiring multiple verification methods, MFA significantly enhances the security of your login process.

How BindTuning MFA works

After you enter your login credentials at app.bindtuning.com, we will send a unique 6-digit code to your registered email address. You must enter this code on the second step of the login process within 5 minutes to complete your authentication.

You have the option to "Remember this device" and skip MFA for the next 60 days. Selecting this option will place a cookie in your browser. Please note that if you choose this and then attempt to log in from a different browser or an anonymous/incognito window, MFA will be required again.

No authenticator app? Sign in with your email.

If you don't use an authenticator app, you can click "Sign in with your email." This will send a unique 6-digit code to your registered email address. You must enter this code on the second step of the login process within 5 minutes to complete your authentication.

If you cannot access your email

If you do not have access to the email address used to register your BindTuning account, you have two options:

  1. Contact Support: Email us at [email protected]. The team will help you regain access to your account and update your registered email address. You will need to provide the necessary verification information.

  2. If you are a teammate: If you accepted an invitation to be a teammate, you can log in using the credentials of the teammate who invited you. The owner of that account will receive the 6-digit code to their registered email, which they must then share with you within 5 minutes. Once authenticated, you can switch to your own account.

Disabling BindTuning MFA

For the best security of your account, it is not possible to disable BindTuning MFA. This mandatory security measure is in place to provide you with an extra layer of protection and peace of mind.
