How does VAT affect me if I'm in a European country?

If you are a customer in a European Union (EU) country, Value Added Tax (VAT) applies differently based on whether you provide a valid VAT ID.

To avoid VAT being charged to your invoice:

  • If purchasing online via the BindTuning App: Ensure your billing details, including your valid VAT ID, are fully completed in your account billing area.

  • If purchasing directly (e.g., via email/PO): Send your complete billing details, including your valid VAT ID, to [email protected].

Providing a valid VAT ID allows us to issue an invoice without charging VAT.

If a valid VAT ID is not provided:

  • A formal invoice will be issued with VAT charged, and this VAT will be due for payment.

Important Notes:

  • All prices in the BindTuning marketplace exclude VAT.

  • VAT always applies to Portuguese customers.

  • VAT never applies to customers from outside the European Union.
